Hi, I am Drew Niemann, the General Manager at Cabrini. I am married with two children ages 18 and 20.

Some interesting facts about myself: One, I played semi-professional soccer for a team called Sea Coral. Two, I have an extreme interest in Native Americans and in my younger years, I read over 200 books on the subject. Lastly, my wife Terry is a graduate of Cabrini College.

I graduated from Hauppauge High School in New York then went on to Paul Smith College where I majored in Culinary Arts.

The first job I ever worked was as a dishwasher at a restaurant in New York called Herfurths. As a child, my dream job was to be a chef. I was a chef but I decided to take on opportunities on management side with the option of returning to the chef position.

My family is what motivates me everyday. I've had three role models in my life. First is my father because he taught me how to have a strong work ethic and how to take care of my family. The second is Lance Armstrong because he is the first person to make me actually believe anything is possible and he uses his celebrity equity for the benefit of mankind. Lastly is Bono, because his music moves me and he too fights to benefit mankind.

My favorite food is Southwestern. My favorite food at Cabrini is Sandella’s quesadillas. Fresh fruit and ice-cream are my favorite desserts and my favorite restaurant is Black Lab Bistro.

My favorite vacation spot is the mountains; specifically the Adirondack Mountains and the Pocono’s. If I could go anywhere in the world, I would go to Le Tour de France.

Cycling, playing or watching soccer, reading, and cooking on my grill are my hobbies. My favorite color is blue and my all-time favorite movie is “Rain Man.”
