Hi, I’m Leslie Poltrock the Catering Director at Cabrini. I am married and I have a 4-year-old.
An amazing thing about me is. I received my Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts at the Restaurant School in Philadelphia.
As a child, I always wanted to be a nurse but all the blood and needles grossed me out and I realized I couldn’t do it. My first job was at Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Center. My dream job is to own a winery.
My motivation everyday is the opportunities that await me and the challenges that need to be tackled. Being challenged inspires my best work. Bob Rifkin is my role model because he taught me a lot about being a chef, about perseverance, and what it takes to make it in this field.
My favorite food is anything chocolate and my favorite dessert is chocolate tort. My favorite food at Cabrini are the cookies. Nectar is my favorite restaurant.
Maine is my favorite vacation spot. If I could go anywhere in the world, I would go to Italy so I could sample their cuisine, taste their wine, and see the beautiful country.
My hobbies include gardening, reading, cooking, and shopping. My favorite color is yellow and my all time favorite movie is Wedding Planner.
